Overview
Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. The platform provides Corporate and Institutional banking services to Deutsche Bank's clients over the internet. With your engagement - the application team will strive to meet various global and country specific regulatory and market driven requirements for payment initiation and account reporting modules. The result of your work will be directly influencing key profitability metrics of the Bank and you will contribute towards applications that perform operational monitoring to run our business across the globe. As a Business Functional Analyst, you will be supporting Payment initiation domain and collaborating with business and technology leaders within the Bank, as well as work with the Business to translate business requirements into System / Functional requirements, help to strategize, align, and build incremental quality software continually delivering business value.

• Understand Business / client requirements and develop convincing ideas and solutions to meet expectations
• Captures full range of functional and non-functional specifications to support solution development within a scrum development framework
• Anticipate weaknesses or problems with design and suggests improvement, while supporting application engineering teams to ensure the solution developed meets requirements
• Work with dev for story clarification and story acceptance, dev/test for questions and story acceptance, and UAT testers for functionality questions and test scenario review
• Ensure key business scenarios are successfully tested prior to deployment into Production
• Become resident Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the applications providing hands-on troubleshooting analysis Skills You'll Need
• Moderate experience in functional analysis for developing applications in payments domain
• Extensive experience in working with enterprise software applications
• Good understanding of Rest APIs with experience using leadership capabilities to support and build client and team relationships
• Ability to express and discuss point of view in a way that both business stakeholders and dev team can understand
• Detail-oriented but understands how stories fit in with the overall product goals with strong MS-Office skills and experience with modern software development life cycle (SDLC) tools - SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA - is a plus Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Good communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with passion and expertise to share knowledge and best practices
• Excellent client and service orientation, as well as analytical skills and structured approach to problem solving
• Product Owner or Scrum Master Coaching certification
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies with Structured Query Language (SQL) skills to extract relevant data from the system as part of functional analysis, as well as understand the data mode Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
